About Our School
Easdale Primary is a mainstream, non-denominational school catering for children from Nursery to Primary 7. The school serves the communities of Easdale Island and the Isle of Seil. Located close to the picturesque village of Ellenabeich on the Isle of Seil, the school is just a short distance from the historic Clachan Bridge, affectionately known as the “Bridge over the Atlantic”, which links Seil to the Scottish mainland. Originally built in 1877, the school has been thoughtfully modernised while retaining its unique character and welcoming atmosphere.
For Session 2026–2027, the school has three classes: a Nursery class, a Primary 1- 3 class and a Primary 4 – 7 class.
Our school provides a welcoming and stimulating learning environment. Our facilities include a dedicated Nursery classroom with an outdoor learning garden, a Primary 1 – 3 classroom, a Primary 4 – 7 classroom, a school library, a STEM and Numeracy area, an Art and Design area, a gym hall which also serves as our dining hall, a staff room and office, and a spacious playground with covered outdoor space.
At Easdale Primary School, we are committed to providing a broad, balanced and inclusive curriculum that meets the needs of every learner. Through high-quality learning and teaching, we aim to ensure that every child is known, valued and supported to achieve their full potential in a caring and nurturing environmen
